Credenz is the annual technical symposium organized by the PICT IEEE Student branch. Since its inception in 2004, Credenz has blossomed to be one of the finest technical festivals in the country. With the aim to encourage the students to challenge their abilities and think uniquely, the Student Branch strives to provide a platform for students from diverse fields to break free from the monotony of their regular academic curriculum and broaden their horizon of knowledge. The team showed their true mettle in the year 2009 when the entire event was hosted online due to the swine flu pandemic across the city owing to which gatherings were not feasible. Their contagious enthusiasm inspired their juniors to make CREDENZ’10 a huge success with students competing in events like C-coding, Business Plan, Robotics and Paper Presentation, among others. Now, the PICT IEEE Student Branch is back with CREDENZ’12 and a still wider platform to let the students portray their skills in non-technical fields as well. Apart from the competitions mentioned above, students are encouraged to participate in events like Website and Poster Designing. There is loads to learn and explore when you have seminars and workshops on the latest topics being conducted by exemplary individuals from the respective domains. We believe that each person is unique, and so, one can imagine the myriad talents amongst the human fraternity. We have incorporated a diverse range of events with the aim of nurturing the striking combination of talent, skill and hard work in maximum possible areas of student interest. Credenz Tech Dayz (CTD) Credenz Tech Dayz was organized as a welcome event for the new IEEE members, which will now become an annual event. It was basically organized to focus on first and second year students, to make them well acquainted with the current scenario in the field of technology. It is an initiative to encourage all the enthusiasts to not only develop their skills in the latest technologies, but also apply them. This also provides them a platform for interaction with experts from the industry and helps them select a domain of their choice and advance in their field of interest. Following were the seminars held during those days. |
